Dream Team rd 21 – The Prelims…

Last week’s semi was a thriller with the Kneejerkers coming out on top by 150 points.
Sorry Stu, truth be told, thought you had me when Dal Santo was a late exclusion.

That brings the Kneejerkers to the 1st Preliminary and we are up against the Useless Geezers……
Unfortunately this may be the end of the road for me. Useless has averaged 2000pts a game and I have only once score 2000.
I have also look at the initial team releases and I am in trouble once again with my backline and forwards,
Grimes still out with injury, SJohnson out again with injury, MBrown fracturing his foot is out for the rest of season and of course Ziebell gone, I have 1 doughnut in the forwards with possibly up to 2 in backline. And no Griffen or Skipworth in the midfield hurts too.

So the line up is:
DEF: Gilbert, McMahon, Hodge, Drummond, Houlihan, Geary with Post listed as emergency.
MID: Bartel, Dal Santo (C), Lockyer, CCornes, Beams, Muston
RUC: McIntosh, Sandilands
FWD: Riewoldt (vc), Didak, Pavlich, Franklin, DThomas, Russell

Gotta say, I am quite impressed in how far Kneejerkers have gone this year. I made the same mistakes as last year by trading far to early, I was also without internet for the 1st 6ish weeks and had to do everything by my mobile phone and of course I got smashed early with long term injuries (Harvey, Ziebell, Westhoff and Wells). Hey, you never know, my guys could be guns and Useless have shockers.
