A sad day today with the passing of Jane McGrath, wife of one of Australia’s most succesful cricketers, Glenn McGrath.
Early morning today, Jane lost her decade long battle against cancer….

She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1997.

Cricket Australia said in a statement that Mrs McGrath’s health had declined over the past week after having surgery earlier in the year.

She leaves behind two children, James and Holly.

The McGrath family has requested that their privacy be respected.

With her private life shoved into the public light by being the wife of Glenn, she used this opportunity to create The McGrath Foundation and strived to help rural areas with breast cancer awarness.
Even though she had been fighting for a decade, her passing has come as a surprise. My condolences to the rest of the McGrath family.
